Sin City: A Dame To Kill For (2014) From Film 4 Frightfest 2014
Now I gotta say I reluctantly saw the Red Band trailer for this on YouTube the day before seeing Guardians Of The Galaxy which featured a track by Lady Gaga..by the end of the trailer my mouth was so wide-opened that I was drooling on my bed. The trailer blew me away and I got more excited for this then Guardians...and I wasn't disappointed.
This is the Sequel to the 2005 Smash which once again follows some of the major players within the violent and unforgiving streets of Basin City which include tales of Betrayal, Vengeance, Love, following Principals and Kills..Big FAT KILLS!

What makes this movie work is the stand alone performances from the likes of Newcomers Josh Brolin, Eva Green & Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The original cast also play their parts well especially Jessica Alba and Powers Boothe as the ruthless Senator Roark. It was also great to see the likes of Ray Liotta and Christopher Lloyd show up too. The Violence is satisfying, The visuals are great..The Soundtrack wasn't too impressive. Overall Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is a sequel that was worth the wait and With Frank Miller more involved this time around it certainly gave this movie a sharp edge.
4/5 Great Opening to this years FrightFest
