Thursday 23rd January-Wes Cravens New Nightmare (1994)
A more darker and scarier Freddy movie then the previous few.....
Heather Langenkamp (Played by Heather Langenkamp Lol) is harassed by a stalker who leaves her creepy phone calls and messages, She's doing the best she can to look after her son Dylan and She is reluctantly asked to return to the big screen as Nancy in Wes Cravens new Nightmare On Elm Street movie. A series of strange occurrences lead Heather to believe that her son might be in serious danger from a demonic force that is imitating Freddy Kruger himself, Heather does all she can to protect her son whilst trying to convince her fellow actors and film crew that she's not losing her mind.

Freddy looks so much more intimidating and realistic, It might be the packet or the new glove but he looks so much more terrifying, I like how throughout the movie they mix the Freddy universe with the real life actors, You get to see Robert Englund's Paintings and some of the crew as they would be on the set of a Nightmare movie. I also liked how they used the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale too. Not too many deaths but I loved the Steel claw attacking everyone on set at the beginning.
3/5 Scarier Freddy, but sadly doesn't go any further.
